This artwork series is based upon vintage US patent drawings of ingenious and notable inventions, in this case, a 1915 patent by John Browning for the Ithaca 37 pump-action shotgun, initially marketed as the Remington Model 17. Made in many different models, the Ithaca 37 has the longest production run for a pump-action shotgun in history. This is a facinating piece of artwork for a hunter or gun collector.
