Artist's Description
A woman embraces a red guitar as she falls asleep in a field of blue clover, with music following her into her dreams.
"Falling Asleep to Music" is a music-inspired self-portrait by artist Nikki Smith.
For a behind-the-scenes video of how I created this portrait using my guitar, a zip line and bungee cords in my backyard, visit my instagram @AristNikkiSmith . Based on a photograph, the woman and guitar are painted for a dreamy quality.
